Official Rules


Abbreviated Rules

NO PURCHASE REQUIRED.  PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE, OR LOCAL LAWS, RULES OR REGULATIONS. CONTEST BEGINS OCTOBER 01, 2010 AT 9:00AM EST AND ENDS ON OCTOBER 14, 2010 AT 11:59PM EST. Participation is open to residents of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. By entering Bryan Foods contesting you are releasing your information to the sponsor for internal use only, information will not be sold or shared in any manner by sponsor or any third parties.

ELIGIBILITY: Participation is open to residents in the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. Employees of Cox Enterprises, Inc., Cox Radio, Inc., WZZK-FM, Rick and Bubba Inc., Sara Lee Corp., other radio stations, promotional sponsors, and all affiliated companies (and the immediate family members of all such employees, and all other with whom they are domiciled) are not eligible to participate in the contest or win prizes. The term immediate families include parents, step-parents, spouses, grandparents, siblings, step-siblings, children, step-children, and grandchildren. Persons can only win a maximum of (1) one contest per (30) thirty calendar days.

Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and administrator’s and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Participants not abiding by these rules may be disqualified.

PRIZES: The Winner will be notified of prize via telephone and/or email.

ODDS: The odds of qualifying to win the grand prize depend on the number of people attempting to participate in the contest at any given time.

PARTICIPATION: Participation in the Contest constitutes an agreement by each contestant to comply with these Official Rules. Rick and Bubba Show, WZZK-FM, Cox Radio, Inc. and Bryan Foods reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest if it determines, in its sole discretion, that fraud or technical failures have destroyed the integrity of the Contest.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By entering the Contest, contestant agrees that (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Contest but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) under no circumstances will any contestant be permitted to obtain any award for, and contestant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages and/or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks, servers, satellites, Internet Service Providers, website, telephone or other connections; or for miscommunications, failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone or cable transmissions; or for programming errors or for any technical malfunctions, failures, or difficulties, printing errors, clerical, typographical or other error in the offering or announcement of any prize or in any prize notification documents, or other errors of any kind or nature; or for the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture, or loss of, any information, or for lost, late, or misdirected mail, or any human error.

CONSTRUCTION:   All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the contestant and Cox Radio, Inc. in connection with any contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of Alabama, or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Alabama.  The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.  In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these rules shall otherwise remain in effect and be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

GENERAL RELEASE: By entering the Contest, contestants release Rick and Bubba, WZZK-FM, Cox Radio, Bryan Foods and any other promotional sponsors, and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest or with the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light).

SPONSOR: The sweepstakes is sponsored by Rick and Bubba, WZZK-FM, Cox Radio, Inc., 301 Beacon parkway West, Suite 200, Birmingham, AL. 35209 whose decisions regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of Contest shall be final and binding in all respects. WZZK-FM, and/or Cox Radio, Inc., will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other Contest materials.

DATA COLLECTION: Except as noted in these Official Rules, information collected from entrants shall be used only for the purpose of administration of the Contest, and will not be sold or shared in any manner by Sponsor or any third parties.
