DR DUDNEY'S FIX MOMMA'S MOUTH CONTEST FINALIST 2

Good morning, messieurs Rick and Bubba! I’m writing in from Houston Texas to tell you why my mom, Sandy Kilgore, should win the Fix Momma’s Mouth contest.
First, a quick history lesson: Back in 1983 when my father was in the army, mom received two Maryland bonded bridges from military dentists to fill gaps from two hereditary missing teeth. Over time, the shade of the natural teeth no longer matches the bridge teeth. During the last few years, both the bridges and the surrounding natural teeth have begun to shift, giving the bridge teeth a vampiric look. They simply don't seem to fit the space any longer. Sandy is a Bama girl, born and raised. She and dad, also an Alabama native, were married for 34 years before we lost him to neck cancer. She was his primary caretaker, tirelessly driving him to appointments and seeing to his home treatment. Mom also cared for her ailing father during his fight with Parkinson’s disease. She has been myself and my brother’s biggest cheerleader throughout our entire lives, helping to put me through college and acting as the glue that held our family together.
Her faith in the Lord is strong and evident to those around her, especially the congregation of her chosen place of worship, Christ Community Church in Montgomery; She’s been a member there for 22 years and has served on the praise team, volunteered in the childcare rooms, and participated in weekly Bible studies. She’s also a huge fan of your radio show and listens to it every day while getting ready for work.
The past few years have been very rough for mom; she was diagnosed with breast cancer in July of 2018 which required surgery and radiation. Last fall, two bulging discs in her neck left her completely incapacitated and unable to work for three months. During self-quarantine, she had to have her faithful feline companion of 17 years put to sleep. Her self esteem has really suffered with the degradation of her teeth. She’s a warm, caring woman who deserves every happiness, and the dental makeover would really give her a much-needed confidence boost! I hope I’ve successfully made my case, and that you, your families and staff are doing well.
Regards from Texas,
Wendy Gaine
